Company Overview

Claire Fraser is a freelance Research Consultant with extensive experience of undertaking research, evaluation and feasibility studies for the academic, statutory and third sectors. Following a career in academia she set up Consult Research in 2005 to provide timely, accessible and cost-effective research and evaluation solutions to a range of clients including national charitable organisations, local voluntary sector services and statutory agencies located throughout the UK such as local authorities and primary care trusts. At the same time she has maintained a commitment to academic research and continues to work with a number of Universities. She has particular interest and expertise in the following areas: outcome evaluation; feasibility studies; research with children and young people; research on family support and parenting; youth and community work interventions; health research; drug and alcohol misuse; child protection and abuse prevention; and generally, researching sensitive topics. However, the core research and evaluation skills can be applied to many other areas and Consult Research is keen to expand its client base as the company expands and moves into its new home in the Media Centre.
